The Fazio Championship Course at The Club at Carlton Woods , a private country club in The Woodlands has been ranked the “Best New Private Course in Texas”, and “#3 Best New Private Course in the U.S.” in Golf Digest’s prestigious 23 rd annual rankings, according to Bill Langley , CCM, managing director of The Clubs of The Woodlands .

The new course is located in Carlton Woods Creekside , the 500-acre expansion of the gated community of Carlton Woods in The Woodlands’ newest Village of Creekside Park , located south of Spring Creek in Harris County. The Club at Carlton Woods is ranked among the top 100 Most Prestigious Clubs in America by Golf Connoisseur magazine.

In addition to the Fazio Course, The Club at Carlton Woods is home to a Nicklaus Signature course , which was also ranked “Best New Private Course in Texas” and “#3 Best New Private Course in the U.S.” by Golf Digest in 2001, the year it opened. The Nicklaus Course is currently ranked the “#5 Best Private Course in Texas” by Golf Digest and the “#2 Best Private Course in Texas” by Dallas Morning News . The Club at Carlton Woods is one of only two private country clubs in the U.S. to offer the Nicklaus/Fazio combination.
