The Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) 2006 charity project is kicking into high gear with “Operation Holidays for Heroes”. WCR is challenging the entire County to help support our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq by either donating items for 1,000 care packages or by committing to one of five levels of sponsorship. “WCR is asking every Realtor, builder, mortgage and title company to join with us in helping make the holidays special for our troops,” said Becky Shannonhouse, underwriting chair and underwriter of the project. The corporate underwriters who have committed to date include The Woodlands Development Company, J.M. Wendell Builder, Inc., Mineral Resource Technology and Woodforest National Bank.
