New home sales in the gated community of Carlton Woods increased 31% between January 1 through April 30, 2006, compared to the same time period in 2005. Carlton Woods sold 17 new homes for the first quarter of 2006 compared to 13 new homes in 2005 for the same period. During the first two weeks of May 2006, three additional homes were sold in Carlton Woods, bringing the year-to-date total to 20. For the entire year of 2005, 20 new homes were sold in Carlton Woods.

The increase in sales is partially due to the opening of Carlton Woods Creekside, the 500-acre expansion of Carlton Woods, located in the Village of Creekside Park, south of Spring Creek. Homes are currently under construction in Carlton Woods Creekside. Homesites can also be purchased surrounding the new Fazio Championship golf course in Carlton Woods Creekside. For the month of May, projected written contracts will be up 29% over same month last year. Monthly written contracts have exceeded prior year monthly since January 2005.

For the month of May, available listing inventory is down 28% from same month previous year. The listing inventory compared to same month prior year began to decline in July 2005.
