Spring Creek Greenway
SPRING CREEK GREENWAY PROJECT WINS ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AWARD – The North Houston Association (NHA) recently presented the Environmental Impact Award to Harris County, Precinct 4, and Montgomery County, Precinct 3, for the preservation and enhancement of its Spring Creek Greenway Project. The NHA annually recognizes a company or entity for its efforts in preserving and protecting the environment in North Houston or South Montgomery County.
Upon completion, the Spring Creek Greenway Project will connect existing parkland along the south side of Spring Creek, beginning at Jones Park in Humble through South Montgomery County to create a 25-mile linear park.
The 1,700-acre Creekside Park in The Woodlands will be included in the Spring Creek trail and park system. Slated to be one of the largest parks in the Houston area, Creekside Park will be a major amenity with recreational activities planned for The Woodlands newest Village of Creekside Park.
